New Appointments
Earlier today, Chief Executive Officer Stan Kuss announced
the appointment of two CUETS executive team members:
Doug Scott and Darcy Ruse, as well as Merchant Account
Manager, Leslie MacDonald.
Doug
Scott, former Director of Sales and Client Support,
has been with CUETS since January 1997. His previous
experience includes 17 years with card operations at
Bank of Montreal, delivering MasterCard, Interac, CIRRUS
and Maestro to Schedule II banks, credit unions and
trust companies. Scott's extensive background and industry
knowledge will equip him to serve credit unions well
in this new capacity.
Darcy
Ruse, former Vice President of Finance & Operations,
is now Vice President of Client Support. Ruse's extensive
experience in the credit union system has provided him
with a strong background in credit union and card operations.
In his new role, Ruse's mandate is to focus on delivering
world class client service to credit unions and their
members. His new areas of responsibility include Cardholder
and Merchant Support, Card & Core Systems, Chargebacks
& Photo-Retrievals, and Merchant Services Support (the
Merchant Help Desk).
Leslie
MacDonald brings a wealth of MasterCard, Interac and
Mondex experience to the credit union system. She has
worked in many merchant-related roles in the Electronic
Banking Services division at Bank of Montreal, including
the Merchant Help Desk, Inside Sales, Independent Sales
and National Account Sales. Most recently she was the
Product Manager for the Merchant's Advantage Program
(similar to the Merchant Value Program) at Canada Trust.
At CUETS, MacDonald will focus initially on liaising
with the Bank of Nova Scotia for the Merchant Value
Program and later, on the development of other merchant
business, including Internet Commerce delivery. Her
office will be located in Toronto.
