February 22, 1999 - Credit Union Electronic Transaction Services regards the year 2000 issue with great seriousness and has been actively preparing for it since 1996. CUETS is currently executing a year 2000 project to ensure our readiness for the millennium rollover. Our computer systems have been inventoried and assessed, and the changes to make them year 2000 ready are progressing on schedule. We recognize that the readiness of our business partners and suppliers is also a critical part of our own year 2000 preparedness and we are working with them and documenting their status.

Present schedules call for readiness to be achieved by the end of the second quarter of 1999, well in advance of the actual rollover date. Contingency plans are also being developed, which will enable us to maintain service in the event that unforseen problems affect the systems.
