CUETS expands operations

Credit Union Electronic Transaction Services (CUETS)
is expanding its Regina operation by 25 jobs and setting
up a Winnipeg-based call centre with 35 new jobs, the
Regina-based company has announced.
Stan Kuss, CEO of CUETS, said the expansion will support
the company's growing MasterCard business. "We have
some new clients that we're getting staffed up for,"
said Kuss.
CUETS provides credit and debit card services for
600 MasterCard affiliates, including credit unions,
caisse populaires and other organizations.
The 25 jobs in Regina will be in marketing, business
development, information technology and other operational
areas. The 25 new jobs are in addition to 30 other jobs
created this year, bringing CUETS total staff complement
in Regina close to 300.
The 35 customer service centre in Winnipeg will provide
bilingual service and Internet support to MasterCard
users. "We expect to be employing staff (in Winnipeg)
in January," Kuss said.
