Jainarine
acknowledged for
outstanding customer service
January
20, 2003 - Winnipeg's contact centre industry celebrated
the 2002 Manitoba Excellence in Customer Contact Achievement
(MECCA) Awards on November 20. The annual event, sponsored
by the Manitoba Customer Contact Association, is an
opportunity for the industry to acknowledge outstanding
achievements in a number of categories by contact centres
and individual employees.
CUETS' Natasha Jainarine, a Customer Service Representative,
was honored with the People's Award at the 2002 celebration.
She earned recognition for her exceptional effort on
the job and her positive attitude at all times.
"Natasha is a real team player who has made a
very positive contribution to the CUETS environment,"
says Operations Supervisor Vivian Smith, who nominated
Ms. Jainarine for the award. "She is considerate,
flexible, reliable, and well-liked by her peers. She
is always willing to help out, whether it is staying
late, starting early, or answering peer questions."
Natasha has worked at CUETS since July 2001. She was
first employed through a temporary hiring agency and
became a full-time CUETS employee July 15, 2002.
She describes herself as someone who enjoys working
with people. "I love my job and I love the people,"
she says. "My co-workers are great - and so are
the cardholders. It's a very positive environment.
"I've been told I have good customer service skills,"
she says in response to a question about what qualities
she possesses that might have played a role in winning
the People's Award. "I enjoy helping others."
Natasha's supervisor, Maxine Robert, presented her
with a $200 award on behalf of CUETS for her special
achievement.
